Preventive Care
Dr. Hamill’s office focuses on the prevention of dental disease. Our preventative approach to dental care includes:
- Periodic Exams/Cleanings—Typically performed every 6 months, routine cleanings and exams prevent dental disease, future dental problems, detect oral cancer and other oral pathologies. Our excellent hygiene staff provides care and comfort while offering the latest technology.
- Periodontal Evaluation and Therapy—A periodontal assessment is performed at every hygiene visit. If necessary, periodontal treatments including routine periodontal maintenance and scaling and root planning can be performed in the office by our trained dental hygiene staff under the care of Dr. Hamill.
- Sealants—A plastic resin material that is applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth to protect tooth enamel from plaque and acids preventing future tooth decay.
Cosmetic Treatment
Cosmetic treatments are performed to enhance the natural beauty of your smile.
- Teeth Whitening—Professional teeth whitening offer tremendous advantages over commercially available home treatments. Custom tray design and superior treatments are available for home or chair side use and can enhance the color of your smile.
- Bonding—Dr. Hamill uses composite resin material that matches the color of your natural tooth to reshape misaligned or injured teeth, correct cracks, discoloration, gaps, or wear from brushing to hard. Bonding is a quick and painless way to restore the tooth back to its natural look.
- Veneers—Thin customized porcelain is placed over the front surface of the existing tooth making teeth look straighter, whiter or a more even looking smile.
Restorative Procedures
Dr. Hamill specializes in a wide variety of treatments to restore broken, missing, or decayed teeth back to the patients natural smile. These services help patients regain the functionality and confidence of a healthy natural looking smile again.
- Composite Restorations—New or recurrent decay or even old mercury fillings can be restored with a natural tooth colored filling. Composite fillings are a strong, safe and more natural looking alternative to silver fillings.
- Crowns—All porcelain crowns are used to repair decayed, damaged, cracked or broken teeth back to their natural appearance and function. Most crowns can be prepared and delivered to the patient within 2 weeks and require minimal appointment time.
- Bridges—A bridge fills a space where a tooth or teeth previously occupied the space. Replacing missing teeth with a bridge prevents shifting of teeth and problems with bite.
- Implant Restorations Including Crowns, Bridges and dentures placed due to missing teeth.
Orthodontics
Dr. Hamill provides a variety of orthodontic procedures/treatments to straighten teeth or correct problems with the bite. Several options of orthodontic therapy are available including appliances for thumb sucking, retainers, and palate expanders.
- Series of clear customized retainers to straighten your teeth within months without using brackets or wires.
- Pediatric to Adult Comprehensive Orthodontic Care—Dr. Hamill provides state of the art orthodontic work up and treatment. Using the latest diagnostic equipment Dr. Hamill personally treats the case from start to finish.

Dr. Hamill’s access to and relationships with many specialists in the area are an intregal part of the treatment options provided. Our office works and coordinates treatment with local specialists to restore the patient’s oral care to the highest standards of dentistry.
